The Allegra Singers have another wonderful concert coming your way this spring on Friday May 10 and Saturday May 11th.

We’ll be performing Fix You – an entrancing modern pop song by Cold Play that will inspire you with its original harmonies. We’ll also spotlight Light of a Clear Blue Morning by Dolly Parton, a beautifully melodic song of hope.

There will be spirituals like Poor Wayfaring Stranger, Ol’ Man River, The Gift To Be Simple and This Little Light of Mine that will bring harmony to your spirit, light your soul and deepen your faith.

Old Dan Tucker will bring you stompin’ and laughin’ and clappin’ right into Manhattan Transfer’s Trickle Trickle with upbeat jazzy harmonies that just won’t quit...
“Trickle, trickle, splash, splash, Tell me how long will this rain last?
This rain keeps droppin’, there ain’t no stoppin’,
Tell me how long will this rain last?”

Hopefully, it will nice and sunny on the weekend of our concert, though, because we’ve got some more Broadway tunes for you in Old Devil Moon from Finian’s Rainbow Moon (a bewitching tune with a Latin flavor), Everything’s Coming Up Roses from the musical “Gypsy” and Send In The Clowns from the musical “A Little Night Music”.

And let’s not forget Elvis!.. We’ll be performing a medley of the King’s top hits all rolled into one retro musical visit to the lively 50’s!
