Log Cabin Museum and Archives

The Museum/Archives is operated by the Saanich Pioneers' Society as a non-profit society, dedicated to the preservation of the historical records of the Saanich Peninsula. This is done through an extensive collection of artifacts, archival records, pictures and historical reference material acquired over many years. The very large collection of photographs depicts individuals and families on the Saanich Peninsula, as well as portraying the economic, social and cultural history of the area.

The Museum is operated entirely by volunteers, and supported by donations for which we are able to give charitable receipts for taxation purposes. The Society receives no grants from any level of government for operation of this facility.
