*** CONFERENCES *** Second Annual North American CoHousing Conference Boulder, Colorado will once again be the site of the North American CoHousing Conference, scheduled to run from September 28 through October 1, 1995. Based on feedback received at last year's conference, the Rocky Mountain Cohousing Association has extended the length of the event by one day, built in a little more free time, and planned to include child care. The conference will take place at the University of Colorado, Boulder campus, beginning Thursday evening, September 28, and closing Sunday afternoon, October 1. On September 27-28, RMCA will host the Third Annual Meeting of Burning Souls for those interested and/or involved with CoHousing as a movement. September 27 will be a Colorado Play Day (networking allowed) for those able to arrive early; September 28 will be the actual meetings. Indivisual registration for the conference is $120 US. RMCA member and Journal subscriber discoutns as well as cost for the Burning Souls meeting will be announced at a later date. A limited number of partial work scholarships will also be available. The cost of child care has been built in to the overall conference fee and will be provided during all sessions (one-session of volunteer time will be needed from parents). Arrangements have been made with the University for housing near the conference site. Lodging will be available at the College Inn for $26.50 US double occupancy/night. Some housing with local cohousers will also be available. If you would like additional information or would like to help in the organization of this event, please call Bill Paiss at 303-499-8189.
