JUDGING GUIDELINES

• Sites will be judged according to their appearance in Lynx. Therefore text will be weighted more heavily than graphics.
• Is the site fully readable in Lynx and are any frames fully workable in Lynx?
• Does the site provide the information it claims to provide?
• Sites should not take an unreasonable amount of time to load.
• Content: Sites should be useful in some manner, even if it's only as entertainment.
• Design/layout: Sites should be eye appealing and easy to read
• Sites should show originality and creativity.
• Links: do all the links (if any) work and are they easy to navigate?
• Though you can sell stuff on your site, the site should not primarily be a business site.
• Humour and interactivity are always welcomed.
• No pornographic, racist, illegal, or discriminatory material, or links to such sites.
• Likewise, sites should not contain inappropriate language.
• Are there many spelling or grammatical errors?
• Actual number of sites chosen may vary from month to month.
• Over time we may refine the contest rules as new ideas and issues arise.
