Kraynak intends to tell you about the various parts of the PC, DOS and Windows. 
Also word processing, spreadsheets, databases, graphics, desktop publishing,
modems, financial software, integrated software and games.  As well as some
maintenance and troubleshooting.
 
He does give some basic information, and even a few good tips, here and there. 
Unfortunately, he was much more interested in proving he could tell jokes, and
missed a great many opportunities to pass along good and needed information.
 
So, if you want a joke, buy this book.
