Write a book about your system, so that the users can learn everything they need to know about it, and they will stop calling with stupid questions. Sorry, Jim, the dumb ones won't read this, and they'll still keep calling. But the reasonably intelligent ones will rise up and call you blessed. This is one terrific UNIX guide. I don't use SCO, but I'm still tempted to keep it on my shelf anyway. This is for those who both want to understand and to use the system. It provides a thorough background, not only to SCO UNIX but also to computers in general. Mohr gives the reasons behind, the how to, and the likely traps and misunderstandings. The explanations are not only readable, but leavened with a humour that properly supports the concept or topic under discussion. If you do use SCO's product, particularly if you are starting out, this is an unparalleled resource. (Jimmo, can we interest you in Linux?) copyright Robert M.
