Hello everyone,

It feels like the old Nightline show and the Iran Hostage Crisis - Day 11
(yes, I am dating myself). Perhaps we should be wrapping CAP ribbons around
trees for the safe return of public access to Canada. Maybe that's an idea
actually!

The media has continued to run with the story, which is a testament to the
importance of the program to citizens and to the energy of everyone
involved. I am also hearing that MPs in some parts are hearing loud and
clear from their constituents, this might even be the most they have ever
heard about an issue.

We need to keep at it though, so please keep encouraging people to voice
their complaints to their MP: visit, call, write, or email their office. We
need to talk with the Federal Government and so far there has been no
contact. But they are listening as their messaging changes slightly to
respond to various arguments.

On a local note, The NS CAP Association is meeting in-person Tuesday in
Halifax. A meeting was arranged some time ago with the Province around
planning, so we are taking the opportunity to discuss.

Here are a few articles from the last day:

Thanks to Gareth Shearman for pointing this one out:
