Hi Marita,

This is an excellent document. I fully endorse adding TC's logo to this.

Hello advisors. Please see below and attached the results of our collabora=
tion with APC and other groups around the Universal Periodic Review (UPR) o=
f human rights in Canada. I will ask that the TC logo be added. Other than=
that, you will see that we have managed to insert the need for a return to=
a program that supports community access and digital skills (section B.3 &=
 C.1).

Dear all,

I am emailing to follow up on collaboration around the UPR of Canada,
taking place in April.

Last October APC made a joint submission on internet-related human
rights issues in partnership with CIPPIC and OpenMedia.ca, endorsed by
Alternatives, Web Networks, TeleCommunities Canada, and several
individuals (submission is attached).

APC has been working with the Centre for Law and Democracy, which led
a joint submission on similar issues, to develop questions and
recommendations that will be sent both to the Government of Canada,
and to the Geneva missions of other States, in the hopes of having our
issues picked up at the review.

Attached is a draft document that includes questions/recommendations
on access to information, freedom of expression, freedom of
association and women's rights. We would very much appreciate your
input and feedback on this document, as well as an indication of your
interest (as an organization, or personally) to endorse.

If you know of other organizations and/or individuals not copied in
the email that may be interested in participating in this advocacy,
please contact me.

Thanks for your attention.

Best wishes,

Shawna
