Great stuff everyone and thanks Susan. A truly inspiring story of a very
small very isolated northern indigenous community putting in their own
fibre!

Hi Mike,

Thanks for circulating this info more widely. For anyone who wants more info
on the CRTC intervention by the First Mile team, here's the info on the
First Mile website:

Re the CBC radio interview this morning, it's a great 6-minute overview of
what the First Mile team is doing in Whitehorse this week.
Here's a recording:

Hi everyone,

In case you missed this news: A team from First Mile including Rob McMahon,
Heather Hudson, Brian Beaton and Norm Leach, plus Lyle Fabian from
Katlodeeche First Nation made a formal presentation yesterday to the CRTC.
We will be posting their written submissions plus the audio recording later
on the First Mile site: http://firstmile.ca Later today they will be
presenting their replies to the other CRTC submissions.

This morning some of the team will be interviewed live on CBC radio Yukon at
7:40 Pacific time. Here's the link to the live stream, hope it's the right
station:

Also, the Globe and Mail covered the CRTC hearings yesterday and their
article included some of Lyle Fabian's presentation:

Congrats everyone for making this significant contribution to bringing the
First Mile / First Nation local ownership of broadband message to a new and
important audience!
