> The BYND 2015: Global Youth Summit will take place on September 9-11 in Costa Rica. The summit will assemble young people from all corners of the globe with a view to highlighting their priorities and capturing their combined voices in crucial national and international policy and decision making processes and we, the telecentre global community, have been invited to support the online participation, and in this way, expand the reach and participation of young people from around the globe.

Let’s all remember that many telecentres are run by young people and that the youth behind our telecentres are shaping the lives of millions of people in every country of this planet every single day. > As telecentres, part of our mission is to bring and facilitate access to relevant information, and new opportunities for the communities we serve. That’s exactly why TCF is currently working with a selected group of telecentres from around the globe in order to secure specific contributions of our community on a number of areas and work sessions included in the summit.

> By doing this, the voice of those youth that regularly use telecentres will be heard at the summit. However, we believe that all telecentres should do what they can to promote and bring the information on the ITU Youth Summit to their youths. > We’d like to invite you to join BYND 2015 and learn how you can follow, contribute and even host some of the remote activities developed to support the online participation. Please follow the steps include in this guide, and make sure you become an active follower of #BYND2015 in Twitter, and more importantly, follow the regular updates that we will be posting in our community sites and TCF’s social media accounts.
