[Advisors] Fwd: Municipal Leaders - Don't Miss Next Issue - Broadband Communities

Further to my most recent post...

I have now put print publications from Broadband Communities into the hands of community/municipal leaders all over southern Alberta.

They are quality products, and they bring credibility to the notion of community/municipal leadership in broadband.

Over the last two years, I've been encouraging Broadband Communities and the FTTH Council to host an event or two up here.

A few weeks ago in Minneapolis, the President of the FTTH Council told me they are thinking of putting on a GigBit Highway event in Toronto next spring (no announced yet).

This might has something to do with the Intelligent Community Forum holding next year's Intelligent Community Awards in Toronto, also in the spring:

Over the winter, I'll be engaging Broadband Communities around the idea of hosting one of their events in Vancouver next fall, using Coquitlam QNet as a showcase for community/municipal leadership.

They may need a Canadian partner to pull it off, and for now, there isn't one.

James
