ICANN is already struggling.  Under the search term "ICANN travel ban,” I found several hits including:

But, in addition to US based meetings, because of the climate created by America’s apparent intentions to abandon leadership in international institutions, ICANN’s Board has to be facing other, longer term, threats and uncertainties regarding its role and its move to internationalize.  I haven’t yet seen a backgrounder speculating on that, but here’s one take on the thoughts of Chairman Trump on things Internet:
