Hi folks. Those of you who have joined ICANN's NARALO (North American
Regional At-Large Organization) might be interested in applying for a
small amount of funding to attend this major Internet related event in
Toronto in May (see below). If you have not joined, I encourage you to
do so. NARALO accepts individual members as well as organizational
members. You are expected to have some interest in what goes on at the
international level and attend one teleconference per month.

Hi all,
Many of you are already aware, but the annual RightsCon Summit Series
will be in North America in 2018 (Toronto, May 16-18). Hosted by Access
Now <https://www.accessnow.org/>, RightsCon is where the world’s
business leaders, technologists, engineers, investors, activists, human
rights experts, and government representatives come together to build
partnerships, shape global norms, showcase new technologies, and
confront the most challenging issues at the intersection of human rights
and technology.
They are currently accepting session proposals:

ICANN sends staff to the conference from the region each year, and we
expect to do so again this year.
Could be a good opportunity for a CROP trip as well.
Thanks and have a great weekend!
Joe
