Yes, I read that mandate letter as well. No visions there at all, it is
focussing on government house cleaning with respect to how they use
technology to deliver services inhouse and to the public. Without a
doubt, this is necessary and it is called digital government not digital
communities for a reason. But it is worth keeping an eye on this
portfolio -- it could grow, other ideas coming from the edges might not
be unwelcome.
