Description 	Did you know that CIGF is a national initiative of the 
larger, global Internet Governance Forum (IGF) convened by the United 
Nations Secretary-General? The global IGF is a platform for 
multistakeholder dialogue and, as such, the national and regional IGFs, 
including CIGF, feed into a larger global dialogue about macro issues in 
internet governance.

This session will cover each of the macro global themes as observed at 
the last meeting of the global IGF, Resilient Internet for a Shared 
Sustainable and Common Future, in December 2022 and relate them back to 
the Canadian context. We'll have an introduction from the UN IGF 
Multistakeholder Advisory Group's Chair, Paul Mitchell, followed by a 
conversation between Natalie Campbell of the Internet Society, Elizabeth 
Thomas-Raynaud from GPAI and Dr. Claire Wardle of Brown University,
