<p>Hello advisors. You can keep in touch with interesting
developments in community networks through ISOC's new livestream
channel. Even if you miss the event in real time, it will be saved
and you can watch it later. I am in the process of organizing the
first (and hopefully not the last) Canadian livestream event on
ICANN issues -- Feb. 13th, 4-5 pm EST. More information will be
sent in the next few days. <br>

<p>Meanwhile, the event posted below will be interesting for anyone
working with indigenous communities. I dound it really interesting
to drop in on some of these events. It doesn't cost anything. You
can just watch and listen -- or register with Livestream at the
time and ask questions via chat.</p>

the Santa Fe
Indian School.
Following up on
last November’s <strong><a

Connectivity
Summit</a></strong>,
this event will
begin with a
panel discussion
among key
players in New
Mexico’s growing
DIY Internet
movement, and
will include
representatives
from the <strong><a
href="https://www.facebook.com/PuebloBroadband/"
style="color:rgb(52,120,227);text-decoration-line:none"
moz-do-not-send="true">Middle Rio Grande Pueblo Tribal Consortium</a></strong> (comprising
the <strong>Cochiti</strong>, <strong>San
Felipe</strong>, <strong>Santa
Ana</strong> and <strong>Santo
Domingo</strong>Pueblos),
the <strong>Navajo
Nation</strong>,
and the <strong>Laguna</strong> Pueblo,
among others.
These pueblos
are breaking new
ground in tribal
Internet
networking, and
in doing so,
leading the
charge in
advancing
network
connectivity
throughout the
state. They will
be talking about
what they are
doing, how
they’re doing
it, and sharing
insights and
best practices.
