            all. Please join me in welcoming Andrew Clement to this
            list. Andrew
            is professor emeritus with the University of Toronto Faculty
            of
            Information. Between 2001 and 2005, he was instrumental in
            organizing
            the SSHRC research grant which enabled the CRACIN (Canadian
            Research
            Alliance for Community Innovation and Networking) to do
            in-depth
            studies on the impact of new communications media on
            communities. TC
            was an active participant in this work. See here for some of

                human-centred systems development. Recent work focusses

                information policy for guiding the development of
                Canada’s
                information infrastructure, digitally mediated
                surveillance, internet
                use in everyday life, digital identity constructions,
                public
                participation in information/communication
                infrastructures
                development, and community networking.</span></span></font></font></font><strong><font color="#271100"><font face="Arimo"><font style="font-size:13pt" size="4"><span style="font-style:normal"><span style="font-weight:normal">
                  He </span></span></font></font></font></strong><font color="#271100"><font face="Arimo"><font style="font-size:13pt" size="4"><span style="font-style:normal"><span style="font-weight:normal">continues
                in retirement to explore the social and public policy
                implications of
                the emerging information/communication infrastructure,
                and is working
                on identity, privacy and surveillance research as well
                as related
