>> Pharis and Jason Romero are vibrant duet singing, beautiful original songs, and a re-imagined canon of traditionals, with guitars and hand-crafted banjos straight from their Horsefly, BC home. They give listeners a feeling that you’ve known them a long time, moving from spacious, almost ethereal, old time folk songs to powerful country blues. Pharis and Jason released their second duo album, Long Gone Out West Blues, in February 2013, to much critical acclaim, multiple award nominations, and a 2013 Canadian Folk Music Award for Traditional Singer of the Year. The duo's  2012 debut, A Passing Glimpse, garnered a 2012 Canadian Folk Music Award for New Artist of the Year and an Independent Music Award for Americana Album of the Year.
