Hi everyone

Here's an opportunity for fiddlers and other musicians in the Valley:

 

The very wonderful East Coast fiddler Gordon Stobbe will be in Smithers May
18-23 and will be available for private lessons between 12 noon and 5pm
Monday-Saturday.  Gordon's forte is traditional fiddling; he has an
astounding repertoire and is an exceptional teacher - on mandolin, bass,
guitar and piano as well as fiddle.  If you'd like to expand your
repertoire, or if there's a technique you'd like to learn (how to accompany
fiddlers?  cuts? ornamentation? double-bowing?) please read on.

 

Private lessons are $50/hr, group lessons (families or small groups sharing
a lesson) are $60/hr, shared between the group.
