The official Government News release about the Community Access  
Program has now been made public.

We have applied on behalf of the SICAN network and hope to have our  
contribution agreement in hand shortly.  Once that happens we will be  
able to give you more details, but it looks like the start date will  
be retroactive to April 1st and each site will be eligible to receive  
*slightly* more money than last year.

Thanks to all of you that helped our provincial and national partners  
keep up the pressure on the government to maintain this very valuable  
program that helps to make the Net accessible to all Canadians.  We  
believe this made a difference.
