As a preface to this announcement, I'd like to note that VIFA needs active volunteers to take on projects that will increase the use of Free-Net as an open platform for community-based services. Specifically, we lack the capacity but would like to explore:
- DIY Social services applications development
- Cooperative development of web spaces to support shared common services
- Open mesh networks and related skills training in low cost housing developments with VIFA as at the ISP ..
Anyone interested in jumping off those cliffs should attend the AGM or contact me directly
