I'm looking for information on my great-grandmother Pensie GREEN.
She was an African-American (and possibly Cherokee).
She was born. approx 1852, d. approx 1920 probably in Sumter, SC.
In approx 1875 she married Morris YOUNG (b. approx 1850 GA).

Searching for my father's JETT (or maybe DUNBAR) families of SC

My father's side of the family tree is very small. Please help me to make it grow.
My father, Lewis Thomas JETT (b 11 Aug 1902 Darlington SC) was raised by his Mother Martha FOUNTAIN and her husband William JETT, both of Darlington, SC. Martha's first husband W.J. DUNBAR may have been my father's father.

My father had a sister Lulu, born 1903, and a brother Moses, born 1910.
