The ME Society of
Edmonton (CFS)
is a ten-year-old charitable society, which serves people primarily in
Edmonton and northern Alberta. Most members have Myalgic Encephalomyelitis
(Chronic Fatigue Syndrome) or the related disorder fibromyalgia.
Operated by a volunteer board, the society was set up to provide
support and information to people with CFS and their families, educate the
public, especially the medical and legal professions, and to advocate for
better treatment and services for people with CFS.
This group is one of the largest and most active among the
approximately 85 support groups across Canada for people with CFS or
fibromyalgia. This is a Frames site.
