About Volunteering with Prince George Freenet This is where YOU can help make Prince George Freenet grow!!!!!! We need additional volunteers to help us in expanding our online community. Volunteer opportunities include everything from working with your neighborhood group to helping us write programs or administer our computer; from working with your own favorite volunteer organization to public services or the Government. Please take a moment to look at the Current Opportunity list and if you see something you are interested in, fill out a volunteer form (pick off the volunteer menu). If you don't find a position that fits your current skills, fill out a form anyhow, as it helps the Volunteer Coordinator quickly match needs if there is a willing volunteer on file. You will be asked your name and user ID, areas of interest and skills, availability and phone number. Information will be held confidential. If you have any questions please contact our volunteer coordinator at volunteer@freenet.unbc.edu Thanks! Volunteer Forum Policy This is a moderated forum to request volunteer help. The PGFN Volunteer Coordinator will try to match requests for help with people on file who have volunteered to help. If there is no match, your request will be posted for consideration by potential interested volunteers. Please try to request help as far in advance as possible so the task of matching needs with skills can be accomplished with few problems. To help with the match, please include the following information. Thanks. 1. For which group or committee are you requesting help? 2. Please include a 2-line description of the project needing volunteers. 3. Approximately how many volunteers do you need? 4. What is the projected committment required/requested (hours/days/weeks)? 5. Please add any other applicable information, e.g. job descriptions, more thorough description of project, specific dates of project, etc. The more detail, the better. Questions, comments, suggestions should be directed to Dave hewitt, PGFN Volunteer Coordinator (volunteer.freenet.unbc.edu).
