Telneting to VTN

Victoria Telecommunity Network is a recognized domain on the Internet. To access VTN by telnet, use a telnet program.

The command differs from system to system:

From the Unix command line you can issue two commands:

$ telnet
$ open vtn1.victoria.tc.ca

If you have set up a graphic browser to call a telnet client you can usually enter a telnet command as you would any other url.

telnet://vtn1.victoria.tc.ca

After connecting to Victoria Telecommunity Network you can login using your VTN account or...login as guest (until you get your own account)

To end a CSuite session, use the 'q' command, and enter 'y' (for yes) at the prompt:
