"CATA Executive VP, Barry Gander, & Dr. Sorin Cohn-Sfetcu, Executive in Residence for Commercialization, will meet with members of the House Standing Committee on Industry, Science & Technology on November 14th to advance the industry’s 'Innovation Nation Campaign.'
CATA recently released a comprehensive update to its ‘Innovation Nation’ Campaign, an effort to create the eco-system that will lead to a significant improvement in Canada’s middle of the pack innovation & competitive ranking.
The advocacy Campaign is led by CATA national spokesperson, Sir Terence Matthews and has the very specific objective of creating ten domestic companies in the information and communications technology sector with annual revenues exceeding $5 billion by the year 2020.

According to CATA CEO, John Reid, "In many respects CATAAlliance can be viewed as a political party, the party of the Canadian high tech industry. Our election platform is built from policy planks which will ensure success for Canada in the global economy.
