Hello everyone,
We have been busy informing our local media (radio its seems today) as they
have some of the biggest influence over local MPs.
However, we are now sending letters to every MP and MLA asking what each is
going to do to resolve this.
We are also writing to local municipalities letting them know the impact and
asking for their support, after all, they are just downloading costs to the
municipal level which tends to fund libraries, community centres, community
agencies etc. Several have already sent their objection.
Shortly we will launch a new website - www.saveCAP.ca to make the message
simpler and straightforward. As we move forward we could look at hosting
other area's information. Comments welcome and appreciated.
I will send copies of the letters once my fellow Board members have signed
off.
Please keep on plugging at this, we all know who this if for, and they need
to stay connected.
