Unfortunately, as with so much that is deeply wrong with NS, there is no mention of Cape Breton in this History of the Internet in Nova Scotia.

 

A history of the Internet in NS written from a CB perspective would actually look quite different in certain respects and would give rather more of the NS reality which was, at least in the latter stages deeply infused with NS (and Canadian) bureaucratic and other politics, and political and bureaucratic dysfunctionality.
