Hello all. The North American Regional At Large Association (NARALO) is
offering a pilot project reaching out to First Peoples hoping that some
might be interested in getting involved in Internet discussions at the
international level through ICANN. Some of you may already know about
this as I believe some folks in the First Mile Project have been contacted.
This is a reminder to anyone considering applying and a heads up to
anyone who might be eligible and has not heard of it. Deadline for
applications is August 16th. So VERY TIME SENSITIVE. Go to the kink
below for the application form.
The Tribal Ambassadors Pilot Project addresses the digital divide
throughout First Peoples communities in NARALO by enhancing ICANN's
outreach to Tribal stakeholders. Specifically, the Project aims to
generate increased awareness and understanding of educational
opportunities available for internet governance development within
unserved and under-served tribal communities, in addition to advocating
for intergovernmental digital communication policies that are responsive
to the unique perspectives and characteristics of Native communities. To
