Hello CAP Sites
Many may have known John Webb. He has been seriously ill for months
and died early Sat am.
He was quite instrumental in development of Internet access in BC.
At the recent PCNA conference (Feb 22 - 25, 2007) in Vancouver he was
honoured. John attended with his wife, Moralea and daughter Gala. It
was a happy time. Many spoke recognizing his contributions to help
British Columbians especially rural and aboriginal groups connect to
the Internet. John was amazingly successful furthering Internet
activities in BC.
MEMORIAL FOR JOHN WEBB
Please join us in a celebration of John's life this Friday March 23rd
from noon until 5pm at the Metchosin Community Hall. 4401 William
Head Rd [at the cross roads of Metchosin and William Head]
