[Sican] Gareth Shearman memorial

As some of you may know, and others may not, Gareth Shearman passed away on October 14th.  Attached is a notice of an event planned for friends and colleagues to honour his memory.  It will be at the Victoria Public Library, Sunday, November 17th, 2-4 pm.

The event in his honour is being planned as potluck.  So contributing baking to the "cookies" part of coffee and cookies would be entirely appropriate.  Also please do forward this email to anyone you think would want to know.
