Puff, was born March 31, 1995, on the night of a full moon, the second that month, meaning she was born under a blue moon. She was the boss around here. Puff was a long-haired orange tabby, and of course she was very pretty. In my old neighbourhood everyone knew her, and sometimes children would come to my door asking, "Can Puff come out and play?" She liked to play with toys, sit on my lap while I watched tv, read books, and used the computer, She had cat friends that she played with outside, and she bossed Calli around. Her favourite passtimes were eating and sleeping.
Puff passed away due to kidney failure on May 18, 2007. She was 12 years old. It is not known for sure whether her kidney failure was brought on by contaminated cat food or from going outside and being exposed to antifreeze or another toxin.

My name is Callisto (Calli for short). I am a kitty who moved in with Iris and Puff in the spring of 1998. I am a calico kitty. When I first moved in I was ery busy exploring my territory and trying to get along with Puff. I like to play with toys and chase anything that moves, including my human. I liked to play with Puff, even though she got a bit rough sometimes. I stopped sitting on the human's lap, because Puff told me that she was the only lap kitty in the house. As I am sure you can see from the picture, I am very cute.

Okay, time for the human to have a say! The above picture is the only one I have that shows my two babies getting along! Normally they fight like - well, like cats! I love both of them and I wish they got along like this more often. Oh well.

Just this side of Heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable. All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing: they miss someone very special to them; who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. The bright eyes are intent; the eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to break away from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster. YOU have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together . . . .
