I have to agree with Gary.

Its great to have "pie in the sky" visions about where we SHOULD be (and th=
ese are important) but we also have to deal with the political universe as =
it now stands.  Thoughts of grandeur are excellent but those of us working =
the ground have to go after what funding is available here and now just to =
keep our head above water and not drown.  A drowned person can't do much fo=
r the future of the country.
