Hello advisors. Here is a link to an interview with Steve Song, a
Canadian fellow with the Mozilla foundation. The discussion focuses on
what is happening in the area of internet infrastructure. Steve's work
focuses on identifying regulatory and policy barriers associated with
connecting the unconnected. He is currently based in Nova Scotia and is
designing a fibre network in rural Nova Scotia. One of his strengths is
communicating technical concepts to non-expert audiences. This is
certainly clear in this interview. It is one of the best things I have
see for some time discussing the barriers to creating community owned
networks and how to deal with that.

He also has a very good blog on community technology issues at
manypossibilities.net
